Left Forum: Successes and Challenges of Human Rights Campaigns for Publicly Financed Health Care in the U.S.

At the end of May, the Vermont Workers Center will be joining Put People First! PA, National Economic and Social Rights Initiative (NESRI), and Between the Lines Radio for a panel discussion at the annual Left Forum in NYC entitled Successes and Challenges of Human Rights Campaigns for Publicly-financed Health Care in the US.

The Left Forum convenes the largest annual conference of a broad spectrum of left and progressive intellectuals, activists, academics, organizations and the interested public, to discuss differences, commonalities, and alternatives to current predicaments, and to share ideas for understanding and transforming the world. This year’s conference will be held at John Jay College, with the theme: “No Justice, No Peace: Confronting the Crises of Capitalism and Democracy.”
